BEFORE YOU LEAVE HOME

Once you have completed Medtral's medical evaluation form and supplied us with your diagnostic tests, our medical specialists will review your case and we will offer you a choice of medical travel and accomodation options. You will have personal communication with your New Zealand surgeon before you travel.

WE'LL BE WAITING AT THE AIRPORT

Flying south to New Zealand from Los Angeles or San Francisco takes just 12 hours. We'll be at the airport to greet you when you arrive in New Zealand and to transfer you to your chosen accomodation

SETTLE IN AND RELAX You can have as much time as you would like for relaxation before your medical procedure. Your Medtral Medical Tourism Patient Coordinator is just a phone call away for help and advice during this time
YOUR SURGEON
Your surgeon won't be a stranger to you. Before you travel you will have discussed your case with them either by email or telephone. You will meet them at your pre-operative consultation and they will visit you prior to your surgery. For the duration of your stay in New Zealand they will be your lead medical carer (LMC) and co-ordinate all of your care . You will have several consultations post operatively before returning home to ensure that all is well. Even when you return home, your surgeon will maintain contact with you in regards to your follow up care.

AFTER THE OPERATION

All Medtral's hotels and apartments are perfect places for medical tourism and recuperation and, when you return from your hospital stay, we'll provide excellent aftercare and physical therapy to help you on your road to recovery. Meanwhile, we'll be liaising with your doctor back home to ensure appropriate follow-up care.
