The Medtral medical treatment process

Unlike other medical tourism operators, we work in partnership with you and your local doctor to determine the best plan for your medical treatment for a non acute operation or procedure.

Once you have registered with us and completed your medical evaluation: we will send you the list of diagnostic tests (blood tests, radiological tests such as x-rays and CT scans, or other laboratory tests) you need to have in your own country, in order to have the planned operation in New Zealand.

Appropriate medical specialists in New Zealand will review your medical evaluation form and diagnostic test results. When this is done and you have chosen accommodation and travel details we can then prepare a quote for the expected cost of your travel and treatment.

When we have received payment for your evaluation and the evaluation has confirmed which medical procedure you need, we’ll organize your flight to New Zealand, send you all the required documents, arrange your specialist consultation, book the hospital for your operation, arrange your accommodation and aftercare and book your flight home.
