Surgery Aftercare abroad

One of the many benefits of the Medtral New Zealand experience is the high level of medical aftercare you will receive when you leave the hospital.

Depending on the nature of your operation or procedure, aftercare includes:

• continued physical therapy, as an out-patient in your hotel
• nurse visits to your hotel once you are discharged from the hospital
• dietary and other lifestyle advice to help hasten your recovery
• liaison with your local doctor to ensure continued progress when you get home
• domiciliary aides if required.

We will provide details of the aftercare programme appropriate to your surgery as part of your medical travel plan. Wherever possible, these aftercare services will be provided in the comfort of your post-surgery accommodation.
