PRe-travel Diagnostic Tests
If your doctor has decided that you need an operation, you may have undergone several diagnostic tests to confirm the diagnosis and the extent of the problem. Once you have registered with us we will send you the list of blood tests, radiological tests (x-rays, CT scans etc) or other laboratory tests you need to have had in your own country in order to have the planned operation. This may mean you need to undergo additional diagnostic tests. You will also need prior MRSA screening, which is a mandatory requirement before coming to this country.
A copy of these diagnostic tests plus a medical evaluation form that you have completed is sent to us here at Medtral. All information is kept in the strictest confidence.
Medtral partner with RadNet Direct in order to offer discounted radiological tests in the US to patients considering New Zealand as a medical travel destination. To order a test, please contact us and talk to one of our Medtral International Patient Coordinators.
Disclaimer: While these tests are a standard requirement for each of the operations outlined, this information in no way whatsoever recommends that a particular person should undergo such tests. This decision must be left up to the client and their regular doctor. Medtral New Zealand is not responsible or liable for the costs associated with undergoing such tests.
